Digital Signage can be a great way to communicate. Its 'always on' nature means that you can communicate with people when they're open to receive information, rather than disturbing them when they're not.
In 2009, we rolled out an internal corporate communications system across several of United Biscuits UK sites. The solution utilised the very latest wall mounted and free standing signs. Our content studio created a series of specially designed templates for the project. This enabled UB to keep control of their brand and ensured the content was legible for all viewers. Templates included countdowns for specific product launches, group wide performance metrics and H&S information. In addition some screens were located in restaurant areas, allowing UB to exploit the screens as digital menu boards too.
The overall system is supported nationally by Pixel. UB had full access to our simple web based Digital Signage Content Management interface, allowing content to be simply managed and updated nationally, regionally and locally, giving total flexibility for their communication network channel.
