the challenge
We were approached by one of our store design and shop-fit partners, Sheridans, to provide LED tickers and media walls to meet their requirements for a new concession space destined for Selfridges Oxford Street.
Our Approach
We worked closely with the designers to propose various options for the required LED displays, providing single colour ticker type modules to all of the FSDUs combined with full colour, fine pitch LED for the high-level banners above each wall bay. A series of media players were specified and designed into the layout of the store to ensure that they and their cable routes were neatly integrated.
Content was created to meet the very unique aspect ratios of the displays, ensuring a high-end custom look and feel.
We also provided iPads in secure enclosures, configured to play video content to customers at key dwell points in their journey.
The Outcome
The store looks stunning, with the rare combination of LED tickers and high-quality media displays in one space. As with the vast majority our client base, the technology continues to be proactively monitored and managed by our remote support teams, with on-site, out of hours backup of our engineering staff combined with content creation and scheduling assistance of our in-house studio, allowing the client to concentrate on the business of beauty.
