Corporate Responsibility

Pledge

At Pixel Inspiration, we believe it is our responsibility to make a positive contribution to society and the environment.

Our firm commitment to changing and improving our approach means we can learn and develop better ways of working.

We want to provide quality, efficient services and solutions to all of our clients – all delivered safely and to the highest standards.

We are passionate about our people and believe that we can only meet our business objectives through a well-trained, empowered and motivated workforce who also enjoy working for Pixel.

Our suppliers should feel reassured that they’ll have a professional partner when they work with us.

People

Pixel offers fair and equal employment opportunities for all.

We will provide a comfortable working environment and modern facilities, the most appropriate technology and equipment, and individual attention to career planning and support.

We provide excellent health and safety equipment and training that not just meets but exceeds the necessary legislation and industry standards.

We communicate properly our company aims, values and objectives, and give our employees a voice.

Our Community

Since our founding, we have engaged with our local economies and contributed to their social wellbeing.

Staff are given up to two paid volunteering days per year that can go to supporting community causes, and we regularly provide financial assistance to staff-nominated charities and organisations.

Our chosen UK charity partner has been Prevent Breast Cancer for several years, over the course of which we have been involved in many fundraising efforts including a Manchester to Paris cycle ride. Our contributions so far have raised over £15,000.

Through our participation in community projects, business mentoring and charitable initiatives, we aim to ensure that Pixel is a positive and responsive contributor to local life.

We invest in our local community through a range of initiatives. We measure our success by the evidence of tangible improvement that comes from Pixel’s involvement.

Planet

Pixel works to the standards of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001, the internationally accepted standards for development and execution of an effective environmental management system.

We aim to operate our business in a sustainable way, minimising our impact on the environment. We react quickly to new advice and technologies and will always seek to apply the most up-to-date standards.

Internally, we take an intelligent and minimal approach to our use of resources, such as energy and water. We promote effective waste handling, implementing multi-material recycling with zero-tolerance to landfill.

Externally, we ensure that product suppliers hold similar values and take a process-driven approach in this area. We recommend environmentally positive alternatives to clients, as well as ensuring continual focus with transport partners on programmes to reduce emissions impact.

Our Health & Safety

We are committed to providing a safe working environment for our employees, contractors, suppliers and clients.

We fully accept our responsibility for anyone who may be affected by the company’s activities. We pledge to ensure that we comply with all of our statutory duties.

We will continue to promote and influence safe working practices throughout our business. We ensure that all legal obligations set out by the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 are adhered to, while maintaining continuous review and improvement of our systems and procedures.

Our Quality & Ethics

Providing quality service and products in an ethical manner is the cornerstone of our business.

Pixel managers have quality-orientated SMART objectives tailored to their departments. They are regularly reported on, analysed and reviewed.

Product sourcing quality comprises both Quality Assurance and Quality Control. QA is the “designing-in” of quality prior to manufacture through the pertinent testing of a particular product to relevant standards. QC is the post-manufacture control of this, minimising the risk of sub-quality product reaching consumers.

We will maintain audit logs of QA and QC checks employed for all sourcing activity.

Wherever we source materials, locally or in overseas markets, we apply the same high standards, with added diligence to address specific regional risks.

All Pixel personnel managing supplier relationships will be trained in, and follow, the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Personal Code of Ethics.
