Home / Work - Olympia

As part of a major site redevelopment, Olympia needed a partner to upgrade its digital signage network and AV in meeting rooms, providing ongoing long-term support across the 43,728 square metre London event, conference and exhibition centre.
What we did
Pixel Inspiration updated the existing digital signage hardware and software, installed new indoor and outdoor digital screens and implemented an improved content management platform capable of real-time updates to event data.
How we did it
Our initial project was the migration of the existing display and media player infrastructure to Pixel’s managed service and content management platform. This involved the re-configuration and, in some cases, replacement of media player hardware to work with our cloud-based solution. An integration between the event management system and the digital signage system allowed for any of the displays around the venue to be aware of the timetables across the various spaces, allowing for templated wayfinding, signposting and calendaring content.
As the site redevelopment has evolved, we have installed further digital improvements, including LED-based outdoor displays at key entrances and advanced AV installations including Clickshare conferencing for the hireable meeting and conference spaces. These setups provide for seamless collaboration and high-impact meeting experiences for multiple clients using BYOD (bring your own device) principles.
