Lloyds BankING Group

Transforming in-branch and corporate digital media communications across the UK

Since 2009, we’ve been working with Lloyds Banking Group on award-winning in-branch and corporate digital media communications. We provide full-service support, designing, implementing and managing customised and flexible content and digital media solutions to improve the customer and employee experience.

Lloyds Banking Group is one of the UK’s leading financial services providers, serving over 26 million retail and commercial customers.

What we did

Over the last 10 years, we’ve transformed the visual and audio experience for staff and customers at Lloyds Bank, Halifax and Bank of Scotland branches around the UK. With over 1100 branches across the three retail brands, updating systems can be a complex and costly job. To increase the efficiency, reliability and cost-effectiveness of each project, we’ve also identified the best ways to integrate our solutions into existing systems where possible.

We’ve also worked with Lloyds Banking Group on two significant corporate communication projects to help staff feel focused, united, and better connected to the Lloyds Banking Group brand. The first, when 16 brands merged under the newly formed Group in 2009, and from 2022, supporting the refurbishment of its UK corporate offices.

How we did it

Flagship reinvention

During our partnership with Lloyds Banking Group,we’ve created digital media solutions for Lloyds Bank, Bank of Scotland and Halifax retail bank regional flagships. These state-of-the-art multi-storey spaces feature impressive displays to enhance the space, as well as integrated digital touch points that make the customer experience as smooth as possible. Our flexible systems have been designed to scale for installation in smaller branches around the UK.

In-branch audio and visual solutions

Rolled out to over 1,000 Lloyds Bank, Halifax and Bank of Scotland branches in just six weeks, we installed new audio systems to stream royalty inclusive music performed by up-and-coming artists. Our approach rationalised running costs and improved the staff and customer experience.

We also designed a network of displays throughout each newly refurbished Lloyds Bank retail branch, leading customers from the store-front to the counter. The content management system can be controlled remotely, allowing for thousands of live updates. Integration with the in-branch radio means that audio and visual communications work hand-in-hand, rather than competing for attention.

Corporate communications

Flexibility lay at the core of our solution during the 2009 Group integration period. Given the pace of change, we installed free standing displays that supported live data, making for quick deployment around offices to suit changing requirements and keeping staff informed of the progress at a glance.

More recently, we’ve worked with the Group to create an informative and inviting space for staff, clients and other stakeholders as they refurbish and modernise offices. We are working closely with the project design partners on upcoming office designs, so we can identify the best digital media solutions for each space.
