Responsive content
Queue performance can be measured in real-time with content playback adapted for customers in response to changing conditions. Long wait-times or extended queue lengths can trigger content that signposts customers to less busy areas or alternative transaction options such as self-serve kiosks or ATMs. Additional content can be injected into the playlist that focuses on customer entertainment, with sports and news headlines, quizzes and competitions that help to pass the time more readily than a repetitive promotional loop.
All queue displays, typically installed behind the cash desks, and their interdependent systems can be monitored 24/7 by our dedicated support desk team. Long-term support and maintenance is factored into the specification and installation of each system, so a broken cable can be repaired or LED bulb replaced with minimal disruption to the store.

What we did for TK Maxx
TK Maxx had a legacy call forward system in place across its network of more than 240 stores. The system used simple audio notifications but did not include
any supporting visual content or cues.

We installed a panoramic video wall behind the cash desks that integrated with the existing Qmatic solution. Call forward messages and content produced by Pixel, could be triggered by cashiers. It ensured that customers would be entertained by the
content displayed, but also understand where to go.
