Home / Work - Tesco Café
Tesco Café wanted to move away from their traditional, printed menus and adopt a scalable digital signage based system, complete with ongoing support that would maintain consistency whilst simplifying the management of menu content, pricing and localisation.
What we did
Pixel were selected to deploy a flexible suite of digital signage solutions across Tesco Cafés in the UK. Working closely with the Tesco Café team, the systems were designed to improve menu visibility, highlight promotional offers, allow rapid, centrally managed updates to pricing and maximise the impact of front-of-store communications.
How we did it
Working with Tesco’s fit out contractors, we followed a streamlined deployment model designed to minimise on-site disruption and ensure rapid, light-touch rollout, enabling continual trading of the Cafés.
All digital hardware was installed using our standardised process, ensuring implementation consistency and accurate documentation across multiple locations. A redundant (backup) media player configuration was employed for the menu displays, guaranteeing content continuity in the event of hardware failure whilst also reducing long-term operational costs.
With a scalable infrastructure and a simple content management workflow, Tesco can now manage menu and promotional content more efficiently, deploying changes in seconds when needed, providing customers with high-impact, consistent communication.
