Chicken Spot

Fully managed menu board and call forward system.

With over 100 restaurants, Chicken Spot has been established in greater Paris for almost 30 years.

the challenge

Chicken Spot wanted to find a digital partner capable of providing a fully customisable and managed menu board solution that could be integrated into its new and existing restaurants, and be reliable enough to remain online consistently.

our approach

We developed a POS solution powered by one of Pixel’s certified content management systems. Each restaurant was given the choice of a 4x1 or 3x1 menu board, or a

single 46/55 inch landscape screen, that could be fully managed and remotely updated with content in realtime. Samsung VM series screens were employed due to their image quality, 3.55mm narrow bezel and the availability of the 46” size, which fitted the majority of restaurant counters.

To power and manage the content on the displays, we employed a discrete media player with SCALA license, ensuring maximum performance, reliability and security of data.

The Result

During the first year of deployment, all digitally enabled restaurants  have achieved a service rate above 99%.

Our solution has created a major focal point for customers as they enter Chicken Spot restaurants, making the menu board, brand advertising and prices highly visible.

The combined size of the screens provide a large space to broadcast custom takeover content and the call forward system provides more flexible queue management, keeping customers happy and the team able to focus on delivering great service.

Every restaurant is managed by our digital managed services, allowing content from various sources to be quickly deployed across the country. Our support team takes care of the proactive monitoring and maintenance of this effective digital network, ensuring that everything runs smoothly 24/7.
